Awe, cute witto' woozel. ^^ Although I've never understood why people say they say "dook"... Lol. I've never known a ferret to say anything of the sort. The sounds they are referring to (if I am understanding it correctly) sound nothing like that word. Lol. But then again... The sounds dogs and cats make don't really sound like "woof" and "meow", so I guess, yeah... I donno'. Weirdness. I think it makes more sense to put your teeth to your lips and suck in and out in a certain way to make a similar sound. Lol. Anyways, my ramblings, sorry about that. I like your piccur. ^^ Kyle is the boy human, and James is the boy ferret then? Cute.

Yeah. Course my ferret usually was more quiet. Though he's been more vocal lately. I dunno to me sometimes it does sound like dook. I dunno.

And yes, Kyle is the human and James is the ferret. Their best friends! And James is like magical. He can talk. And maybe other stuff. Anyway, thank you!

Awes, other stuff is good too. Lol. When they're kits they are usually more vocal. As they get older, they mainly resort to just minute amount of sounds. ^^ Mostly huffing and breathy noises while playing and exploring, etc. Unless of course they are in pain. o.O When Goober was a kit, if he didn't get his way, he would throw this ungodly fit with the most wretched noises you could ever hope NOT to hear from your little furbaby! Lol. He wasn't in any physical pain, he was just ticked off that he didn't get what he wanted. Lol. XD Granted, it was SOOOO hard to learn to try and "ignore" his fits, but it had to be done, I mean, you can't give them their way ALL the time, so they need to learn. <_>;;

Man, that would be so hard to ignore. He sounds like a cutie! Mine just made little squeaks now and then. He had that slime disease when he was younger and my mom suspected that messed up his voice. Though he has been making more noise's lately, and he's older.

Hm, strangeness... Well, every animal is a unique individual. Can't base everything on the "norm". ^_^ It's only a guideline to help you to try and keep your furry babels healthy and happy. But we must be aware of individual circumstances as well. :D

And yes, it was tres hard to ignore... XD Lol.

Very true. Just like with people. Everyone is different.

Humans, yes. Nonhumans are all unique individuals.
